Exodus Music and Arts Festival is a renewal, a revitalization of people of all walks, a diaspora from the tumultuous deprivations of our everyday lives into a communal influx of learning, understanding, art, sustainability, and the great communicator, music.
Promontory Entertainment and Musik United Productions in association with members of the Hydra of Funk, are proud to present The Exodus Music and Arts Festival, to be held the weekend of August 24th-26th on Olde Urlton Farms in Earlton, NY. Olde Urlton Farms is a Community Sustainable Agriculture (C.S.A.) farm otherwise known as a sustainable technology preserve. We are focusing our attention and energies on organizing a music and art festival that, along with the goal and purpose of the farm, promotes Sustainable Living Technology in a regenerative effort to raise awareness for an ecologically friendly lifestyle and to redirect the general community back to the core morals and freedoms that this country was founded on as is felt and presented by the culture of the current music scene.
This Movement of the People will feature the convergence of a wide variety of musicians, artists, creators, speakers, and teachers. The Concept for this event has been many years in the making by many individuals and organizations that have a great deal of experience in planning, organizing, and producing events such as these. Guests and co-travellers will experience and mingle with a slew of artisans. This will include massage therapy stations, vendors both retail and food service, hand made instrumentation, scheduled yoga workshops, live glass blowing w/ Jacks house of glass, a community stage and kitchen, a hookah lounge, work shops with various art and practical skills instructors in interactive workshop areas. Cosmic Karma fire spinners will be doing spinning throughout the weekend and concept/installation art by a variety of artists will be displayed as well as various exhibitions of green practices. There will also be a Strangers Helping Strangers donation booth.
