Due to popular demand, The Batey Urbano, a Boricua & Latina/o youth space in Humboldt Park, is reviving our time-honored poetry open mic!

We welcome all poets, spoken word artists, rappers, singers, musicians - if you got a talent, express it and contribute to the Paseo Boricua Renaissance!

This event is being sponsored by Latina/o-focused organizations on college campuses throughout the city. We are also encourage high school students from the 'hood in order to create a multi-generational cultural and educational experience.
