Join jazz vocalist Jesse Charbonier and his band mates, Adrian Ruiz on piano, Michael Lough on bass, and Nils Hidgon on drums, as they return to the iconic Drake Hotel's legendary Coq d'Or Lounge, Saturday, February 18 & 25, 2012, 9PM - 1AM (See below for dates thru May).

The evening begins with the most romantic Jazz music ever recorded, and always ends up with joyful songs that you can swing the night away to. It is a joyous and fun time for all!

Songs that will be performed are songs made famous by Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Chet Baker, Tony Bennet, Johnny Mathis, Mel Torme, Dinah Washinton and others!

The Coq d'Or Lounge, located on the first floor of The Drake Hotel, opened one day after the repeal of Prohibition on December 6, 1933. The intimate and elegant space is filled with low-slung wooden tables with white tablecloths and red leather-padded chairs, banquettes

of red leather, and murals of the French countryside—an atmosphere that harkens back to the 1930's. Today, it remains a popular meeting place for locals and hotel guests, serving expertly-poured martinis, cocktails, wines, beers, and classic comfort foods, along with live music. The Coq d'Or is one of the best cocktail lounges in the city, where music legends have performed over the years, and is one of the few hotel bars with character in the entire world.

The Drake Hotel, the grande dame of Chicago hotels, at the top of Michigan Avenue on the Magnificent Mile, has been a Chicago icon for over 80 years, as the preferred stop for visiting heads of state, with a prime location, storied history, white-glove service and, of course, a

distinguished guest list.
