The Directors of the Peace On Earth Film Festival, along with the Board of Directors of Transcendence Global Media, NFP, are pleased to announce that the 2012 Peace On Earth Film Festival, will once again be hosted by the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and will take place in the historic Chicago Cultural Center's Claudia Cassidy Theater.
Peace on Earth Film Festival (POEFF) is a nonprofit film festival established to celebrate and encourage the work of independent filmmakers from around the world on the themes of peace, nonviolence, social justice and an eco-balanced world. Through the power of motion pictures, POEFF endeavors to enlighten and empower individuals, families and communities to step out of the ignorance of conflict, violence and divisiveness into the light of communication, compassion and understanding.
