With the breakbeat and dubstep scene steadily establishing itself in Chicago, Tolgar can be seen growing alongside it. From an early age, Tolgar displayed a love for rhythm and anything with a pounding bassline. Born in Chicago, Tolgar grew up in Istanbul, Turkey, where his musical career began as a drummer in the marching band at school. His experimentation with music continued with the mandolin, the piano and then the guitar. The year after purchasing his guitar, 15 year old Tolgar formed Frantic – a rock band that performed throughout Chicago in the following four years.

Living in Chicago instilled an appreciation for house music and as raves became more prevalent, dance music became more prominent in Tolgar’s life. But it was not until he moved to Florida, after a stint in New York where he got heavily involved with all aspects of hip-hop that he discovered his own niche in electronic music.

Tolgar was back in Chicago practicing on turntables of his own, spinning all forms of breaks: from funky to nu-skool, as well as spinning drum ‘n’ bass, tech-step and jump-up jungle. Over time, as he observed that breakbeat, dubstep, and dnb with their deep basslines and big beats kept people constantly moving, he soon directed all of his attention to it.

He's performed in international venues as well as all over the U.S. from headlining shows to opening duties for artists like The Crystal Method, Adam Freeland, Hyper, Dj Icey, 30Hz, Dylan Rhymes, Meat Katie, Switch, Smithmonger, Monk, and Lady Waks to name a few.

Recently, his dubstep remix of Ben Brown - Moonjack was charted on Beatport and his electro house remix of Syrebral - Broken Angels has helped the EP climb to #12 in the top 100 releases for Beatport's dnb EPs. Upcoming releases include a breakbeat rework of Noisia feat. Foreign Beggars(Excision Remix) out on Never Say Die and an electro house remix of High Rollers feat Keylas - Now Or Never coming out on Ear Time Records. Presently he is in the process of writing a new EP and developing his live pa for upcoming shows.___________________________________________________________

Some days you feel like $10,000, and other days--just ten bucks. Travis is a DJ who wants everyone to feel like $10,000. That’s why he calls himself S.P. Chase. Soloman P. Chase’s picture and signature are on the $10,000 bill, and Travis has high hopes of one day having one framed on his wall.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Travis had a love for music at an early age. He went to parties with his dad who was also a DJ. His friends turned him on to hip hop music, and in high school he would skip 2nd hour to go to his local music store. He would be the first one waiting for the doors to open so that he could be the first to have the newest hot cd. Then he would bring it back to school to share with his fellow classmates.

S.P. Chase still holds a great appreciation for the hip hop scene, but has grown into the electronic generation. Whether it is at a warehouse party or a VIP club, S.P. Chase has become a household name in the party scene. S.P. Chase plays mostly House, Electro House, and Progressive House. For the better part of a decade, he has been rockin’ the Midwest, playing along with the likes of Richard Vission, Angel Alanis, Paul Anthony, Alex Peace & Mixin’ Marc to name a few.

S.P. Chase is one of few DJ's to master his craft without fully getting into production. All the tracks he plays are personal edits with his own little twists. Hey guys, for starters this won't be your typical bio from the third person. I'm Kenney, and it's nice to meet you!

I found myself getting into bass-heavy music in early 2009 when a relative showed me a couple tracks of a genre of music he thought I'd like. At this point my only EDM background consisted of Justice, The Crystal Method, Daft Punk, Crystal Castles, etc. Nothing too intense. So thinking that nothing could seriously pull me from my metal-ridden mentality was a bad idea, I was left in total shock and awe... I'd found my new game. The dark, deep, vibey,

over-all HEAVY nature to the music had me sold. It took less than a handful of parties before I relaized I wasn't meant to be raging in the crowd either: I wanted to be raging on stage sharing my love for and taste in the music with everyone who wanted to listen and get involved. That being said I immidiately got the ball rolling by starting off with local shows in the St. Louis area from crews Blindfire ENT. and Nasty Rumor which put my name onto fliers with artists such as Propatingz, J.Rabbit, Miles Dyson, IllEsha, and Justin Martin. I soon branched off to out of town shows

where I was given the oppourtunity to share the stage and fliers with artists Such as TRILL BASS, Ill.Gates, Bassbin Twins, and Freddy Todd. Although only having been into the scene for a couple of years at this point, please don't underestimate. I like it heavy, and I don't like holding it back. Blame the metal and don't be surprised if you find some double bass, ride cymbals, and relentless death growls knocking at your ears during one of my sets. Catching a performance from yours truly is sure to leave your endorphin levels high, your energy levels on E, and your ears just plain mad.
