-We, as Chicago's dance community, don't have enough performance opportunities without the expectation from the audience of a fully produced show.

-Most compilation showcases of work are curated rather than an open call to artists.

-Being aware of current work and sharing feedback with our peers strengthens our individual voices and our community.

Draupadi Krishnaa

Draupadi Krishnaa is a performance installation integrating the audience into the experience of Draupadi, wife of the five Pandava warriors, as her freedom is gambled away in a dice game. When no one steps forward to save her, Draupadi saves herself.

The Prism

A small child, discovers a prism and it’s magical effects for the first time. For this works-in-progress showing, I will bring this story into the modalities of movement and voice and see how it forms into what looks like a good beginning for this larger work.

Pursuit
