THE MARCH is an opera in development that explores the people and events surrounding the 1963 March on Washington.
Characters include: Martin Luther King Jr. - John F. Kennedy - Roy Wilkins - John Lewis - Robert F. Kennedy - Coretta Scott King - Bayard Rustin - Diane Nash - Leila Patterson - many more!
ROBESON THEATER in SOUTH SHORE CULTURAL CENTER will be transformed into a 1963 civil rights mass meeting where new characters from the opera will be introduced.
