Crimson Lounge together with Absolut is proud to present the February lineup of Commonwealth Wednesday, a communal weekly industry night. On Wednesday, February 22, Commonwealth will feature Jazzy Eyewear together with White Label co-founder Sadie Woods from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Jazzy Eyewear, also known as Fabian Giannattasio, brings his deep, driving house sound that has been shaking up dance floors all over the world to Crimson for Commonwealth Wednesday, transporting you to what Time Out Chicago calls "a midweek haven of sultry underground sounds.”

Through his work as DJ, producer, dance floor experimentalist, remixer, collaborator and label owner, Fabian Giannattasio has brought a rare level of artistry to the world of modern dance music. Originally from Argentina, Fabian moved to Chicago in 1990 and has subsequently become one of the most notorious up and coming producers. Over the past decade, his unique house sets under his solo project Jazzy Eyewear have earned him a reputation as one of the fastest rising deejays in the US house scene. Fusing funk, soul, and catchy jazz samples with techie, electronic elements, Fabian’s pure house grooves seamlessly blend humanity with technology. On top of his successful solo project, Fabian is also the creator of Miami-based independent underground house music label So Sound Recordings. The label has released music by artists including Inland Knights, Toka Project, Zoo Brazil, Manuel Tur, Jay West and Tovar, amongst others. Recent hits on So Sound include the currently hot ‘Age Of The Jaguar' by Toomy Disco and ‘Agua Ardiente’ by Christian Malloni, the latter of which has racked up more than one million hits on YouTube, plays and chart placings by Sasha, Digweed, Roger Sanchez and Djuma Soundsystem and spins on Galaxy FM in the UK.

Commonwealth takes a new approach to downtown clubbing, and crowds are taking note.
