Join Francesco Milioto and the New Millennium Orchestra for an evening of exciting and innovative music, featuring Claire Chase of ICE performing Saariaho’s sensual, elemental concerto for flute and orchestra, Aile du Songe – literally “Wing of the Dream.”

The program will launch off with Mason Bates’ Mothership, an electro-acoustic tour de force in which the orchestra transforms into a thrumming center of energy, “docked” into by a series of soloists.

The second half of the program will close with Brahms’ unforgettable Symphony no. 4. This will be the NMO's first foray into the lush soundworld of Brahms -- you don't want to miss it!
