In memory of our dear friend & family member, Andrew "Wes" Dill, we will be holding the 2nd annual music festival known as WesFes. It's going to be bigger and better than last year's event. We've got music acts and DJs all day long. We have both rock and hip hop acts hitting the stage. We're having it located outside of Carey this year. We'll post the location here when we get it locked-in for sure (in the next week or two). We may also make it a two-day event (Friday & Saturday). Acts who have committed to performing are:
Rock: The Bandulu Territory, Hempknots, Paint the Sky Black, Mike Ritter, The Rookie Militia, Termoil, Thieving Dean, and Wayne & Sarah.
Hip Hop: C. Jay Dinero, C-Fifth, Derrty, Devious, DJ Conive, DJ Dubb, FamLife, Ghetto-T, Hagley, John Dough, Midwest Tone, Mikocall, Newkleus, S 2 Da T, That Dude Jasper, Tracy, & Yung Prof.
DJ Dubb will also be doing sound and DJing throughout the day and night as well.
We are still looking for rock acts so please get a hold of us ASAP if you or your band is interested. There are not many time slots left.
ADMISSION: Free, we ask that you donate money to WesFes (all money from donations goes to put on WesFes 2013), raffles, and purchasing food & drinks at the concession stand.
Also, the event doesn't necessarily end at the time listed, I keep trying to change it to 1am the next day and it keeps reverting back to earlier times. So just assume it's lasting 'til 1am but end sooner or go later depending on the final setlist.
