Canada’s extreme ice racers are getting primed to compete in regional qualifying events across the country for a chance to take on the massive urban ice track at Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship 2012 in Quebec City. More than 10,000 intrepid male and female adrenaline junkies nationwide registered online, and after a random lottery selection, 220 daredevils from each of the 13 qualifying events are now competing for the chance to head to Quebec City to race against the world’s top ice cross downhill athletes at the epic final world-tour stop on March 15-17, 2012.

Thursday, March 15 | National Shoot Out

3.00pm - 5.00pm: Athlete Training on the track for Canadian men and women

5.30pm - 7.00pm: Athlete Training on the track for Canadian men and women

7.30pm - 9.30pm: National Shoot Out (two runs by each athlete. The fastest 64 move on to Friday night's Elimination Round)

Friday, March 16 | International Shoot Out and Elimination Round

8.30am - 10.00am: Athlete Training on the track for international athletes

10.30am - 11.45am: Athlete Training on the track for international athletes

12.00pm - 1.30pm: International Shoot Out (two runs by each athlete. The fastest 64 move on to Friday night's Elimination Round)

7.30pm - 8.30pm: Athlete Training on the track for international athletes

9.00pm - 10.30pm: Elimination Round (128 athletes skate down the track in four-man heats. The top two from each heat advance to Saturday's 64-man final)

Saturday, March 17 | FINALS

10.00am - 11.30am: Athlete Training for all qualified athletes - men and women

7.00pm - 10.00pm: The 2012 Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship Finals
