Headliner Biographies:

➥ DRKWTR - Having rocked the decks in Alberta, Canada now for three years, and found time in the studio for two, Drkwtr is quickly becoming a recognizable force in the scene.

With a strong background in Classical, Blues, Rock, and Metal, and experience playing guitar and singing in several different bands, Drkwtr has made a smooth transition to Electronica. He continues to amaze listeners with intense technical skill, seamless musical stitching, and unorthodox tricks for making mixes.

Dubbed and known to many as the "Breakbeat Ninja", Drkwtr who is generally a Breakbeat DJ, also shares a great love for House and Techno, often searching out tracks that share one or more of these qualities, making his sets diverse, fresh, and exciting. Drkwtr will usually progress his sets from either soft to hard, or hard to soft, enjoying increasing or decreasing the energy of a dancefloor while telling a musical story.

Having performed at many night clubs, bars, hall parties, charity events, private shows, and continued performances each year at Astral Harvest Music Festival (Driftpile), Motion Notion Festival (Drayton Valley) and Mad Hatter Festival (Blackfalds) has solidified him with a solid and dedicated fan base.

He has had radio play for his productions on CJSR (Edmonton, AB), CJSW (Calgary, AB), 93.1FM The Grind (Prince George, BC), as well as radio play overseas in Spain, and the UK.

Drkwtr's production style is not regimented to any one genre in particular, however he tends towards fusing elements of Jazz and Funk in all his songs, often either upbeat, funky, and dark, or fast, smooth, and uplifting. He puts emphasis on strong melodic composition, catchy chord progressions, and a minimalistic approach, following the artistic theory that "less is more".

He has signings with "We Are Live Records" (UK), and "Breakzrboss Records" (CAN), "Hutman Records" (GER), along with a few independent releases and albums.

He is currently spearheading and working on a collaboration with a few other artists on an album titled "A DJ's Guide To The Zodiac": a collection of 13 tracks of various genres and styles to represent the signs of the Zodiac and their personalities through the use of sound. Scheduled release for this has been pushed to next fall of 2012.

➥ MC BLISS - Joe "MC Bliss" has rocked the mic for Astral Harvest, Motion Notion and other venues alongside fellow "Bongwater" member Drkwtr. At the age of 15 he started with ghostdance productions, bringing hip hop to the stage all the while cyphering in the back. He has been apart of all things music. MC Bliss lives and breathes with mind melting rhymes

➥ MITTZ - formerly known as BEAT-TRIXX loved electronic music from the very start. The first time she felt the music she couldn’t have stopped herself from moving if she tried. Feeling the beat with her feet was easy but after a while she wanted more, to make the music with her hands! Catching on quickly and learning the technical aspects of mixing with ease prove that this is only the beginning for this aspiring dj. Her hard hitting beats will leave you with a permanent bass face. Expect heavy hitters, rolling bass lines, and catchy tunes.
