Please Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer,Every year we HEAR, TALK and GIVE to and about CANCER all in different ways. "Some of us give our time. Some of us give our talent and some of us give our treasures" as written by Dale Ens. In 2012, I choose to give up ANYTHING in hopes to NEVER lose my EVERYTHING. An estimate 173,800 new cases of cancer occurred in Canada last year and 75,000 cancer deaths are expected. Like some, I have not loss a parent, sibling or close friend. However I am riding for the family and friends of whom have and or have had to standby, experience and witness the effects of cancer. On June 23rd and 24, 2012, I will ride for those who have lost. I will continuously ride to beat cancer hopefully before I ever have to feel the effects of cancer myself. I believe that not only those affected by cancer should fight to defeat it. Those blessed with health and wealth can also fight and lend a helping hand. Together we can move forward and overcome this terrible disease. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and the worlds generosity on my side, a real impact will be made. My goal is to raise awareness and $ 3,000 before the ride which is in June 2012. Reaching my goal will allow me to ride in The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation. A cycling journey along the majestic Canadian Rockies.
