WE GATHER BY NIGHT AND ARE CONSUMED BY FIRE

a performative sculpture ceremony

Fire

1. The phenomenon of combustion, chemically manifested as light, heat, and smoke.

2. One of the four elements of the alchemists, ancient philosophy and astrology.

3. A burning sensation in the body.

4. A destructive burning of anything.

5. Fervent or passionate emotion, liveliness of imagination, ardor.

6. Strong criticism or antagonism.

7. Brilliance, luminosity, glow.

Please join us to witness the ceremonial creation and destruction of a performative sculpture, in which the two collaborating artists use fire as a medium to perform the symbolic undertaking of burning down the rigid structures that obstruct our evolution in order to herald in the new, making ashes in honour of that which has past.
