First and foremost, thank you for your support!

I am writing to provide you with important information regarding this event:

Tickets:

If you purchased a ticket online, you do not have to print it, but you must however bring valid ID with you to prove your purchase.

If you Purchased a ticket from me personally, make sure you bring it with you.

If you reserved a ticket at the door, please be sure to bring valid ID.

If you purchased a VIP ticket the doors will open at 6:15pm for a 7pm show. If you have an after party ticket the doors will open for you at 9:30pm.

This event is completely sold out! There will be no tickets at the door.

This is an all ages event, however, we will be selling alcohol. If you intend on partaking in an alcoholic beverage, please ensure you have photo ID with you. Water will be available of for sale, but we will also permit reusable water bottles for ease of waste products. We will also have some healthy snacks for sale <3

There are 3 indoor spaces and one large outdoor space. Feel free to bring poi/ hula hoops etc for use in the outdoor space.!

Honeey Mustard is a pillar in the Calgary electronic music scene. We can thank her for being an integral part of what the community is today. Music is a true passion for Honeey Mustard and we are super blessed to have her sharing that with us at Electronic Awakening!

DJ Nokturnal ( www.area709.com, Zenon Records)

Nokturnal has spent the last many years creating amazing waves in Calgary's music scene. From dancer, to DJ, to producer and promoter, Nokturnal has been influential in helping people to see the consciousness in electronic music.

Benny B-Side (PK Sound):

An electronic music and PK Sound veteran, Benny B-side will tap into your deeper consciousness with some intelligent dark drum n bass. Benny has been a profound influence in the evolution of the electronic scene and continues to evolve music in a profound way.

DJ Hush (PK Sound):

Drum n Bass, Ragga Jungle and glitch are Hush's true passions. He has spent many years immersing himself with these musical genres and has some true gems to share. From going to parties, to playing in his basement and now sharing rad sets at Shambhala in the Village, Hush always knows how to make a crowd move.

Monk-Key Marc and DJ Bruno:

Monk-Key Marc is a truly inspiring conscious hip hop artist and will be sharing rhymes to the beats of DJ Bruno. There will also be Shamanic Dance integrated into this awesome performance.

DJ Crooked Mouth:

Through his use of live looping technology, he effectively produces entire DJ sets with sounds constructed live vocalizations, instrumentation, and record manipulation. A truly unique dance music experience.

Psydestep (Foundation Shakers):



Psydestep is a force to be reckoned with. With his unique blend of howling psytrance, Psydestep keeps the dancefloor blistering long after is reasonable. Prepare for a multi-dimensional assault on your expectations.

Matty K:

With his love of music and awesome talent, Matty K will be bringing some awesome bassy vibes to the dance floor to keep you moving till dawn!

Bass Panda:

Drawing on a wild array of EDM genres, including dirty electro-house, moombahton, dubstep, drumstep, drum and bass, dirty dutch, and jungle - you never know what you'll hear at the next show. But be prepared to dance. Ska-doosh.

Busy Beatz: Live beat boxing! Opening for the likes of Beat boxing masters like Rahzel, Busy Beatz is well on his way to becoming one of Calgary's most talented beat boxers.

BassBus will be gracing us with there presence, transforming the bus into an awesome chill space as well as offering up a fantastic live ambient set by G-Man! :)

BassBus is a community of artists, artisans, and like-minded people that are actively working to develop a beacon of familiarity inside the Calgary arts community. Calgary is a world-class city, with world-class art, BassBus will be the beacon that Calgarians can organize around.

If you haven't been to the AREA before you are in for a special treat. It is a very unique indoor and outdoor venue located in the heart of Inglewood. It features 2 indoor spaces as well as an amazing outdoor space with a Permaculture inspired mandala garden, cob oven,awesome fire pit and covered seating area.

The investment for the evening will be $20 VIP ticket for both the film and the party plus free treats or $15 for just the party. More at the door.

Additional donations will be graciously accepted at the door!

Food and Cheap Alcoholic bevvies will be available.

Your investment for the event goes to Evolver Calgary to cover the Screening fee, event cost, support the talent and to help fund future events. Any additional donations above and beyond the ticket cost will be split 50/50 between the film makers for DVD production and Evolver Calgary.

A.C. Johner

Director/ Producer

A.C. Johner is a cultural journalist and documentary

filmmaker. He is the published author of several

novels, including "A Concise History of Heaven and

Earth," and "The Singularity." As a journalist he has

published several articles relating to 2012, and is

currently finishing a book ethnography on the

Mysticism of Electronic Music Culture. He is

dedicated to producing visual and written

ethnography having to do with the shifting paradigm

of human culture.

Julian Reyes (Keyframe-Entertainment)

Executive Producer/ Music Director

Julian Reyes’ creative pursuits reflect a lifelong

dialogue with an array of art, music, and technology.

Julian is an artist manager, and event promoter; he

has worked as the San Francisco representative for

the Ultra Music Festival for several years and

collaborated on numerous Burning Man projects.

Keyframe's mission is to share the Bay Area's

underground sound globally, and to create

prosperity for the international electronic dance

community.
