As Calgary's temperature drops to the -20 to -30's, at Alkatraz were turning the heat up! Thats right, things are getting tropical here as we bring JUNGLE FEVER to defrost the city and heat up the dance floor.

Not only that but its also the leap year, and your going to have to wait another 4 years to party on this date again! So lets set it off for all those people who's birthdays come every 4 years!

Bringing the heat are local heroes GNARCOTICS, with their infectious mixes of funky beats. Known in Calgary for being the biggest party duo about, there is never a doubt that GNARCOTICS will bring the party and get the room jumping. Having opened up nearly every big show in the city GNARCOTICS have shared the stage with the likes of Stickybuds, Nero, Steve Aoki and Chase and Status just to name a few!

The infamous DAWKTER has been coxed out of his studio cave to show you why he is known for bringing only the finest house and dubstep bangers. A hard man to get out of his studio, DAWKTER is going to be dropping huge originals, showing off his production talents and amazing ability to get the floor shaking track after track!

This will be the last SIDESHOW show before he returns home to Australia for a 2 month string of shows back on his home turf. With the grooviest blend of everything from ghetto funk and glitch to dubstep and DnB, SIDESHOW has proved time and time again that he knows how to bring the party. After some serious studio time he will be dropping a bunch of originals for the first time in Calgary, something to be very excited about!

And of course Local Alkatraz boys ODIE and HYDROGEN JUKEBOX will be doing what they know best, bringing the party and setting the roof of in true Alkatraz style.
