The $100 Film Festival is a non-profit, alternative film festival that exists to showcase historical and contemporary independent film art by Canadian and international filmmakers. The festival is committed to screening short films on super8mm and 16mm film prints.
The festival strives to display and educate about the medium of celluloid as an art form in an accessible and inclusive way. Using critical writing and dialogue with the audience, the festival creates discourse about the films presented to create appreciation and understanding about film as art.Additional events:
