Join Us...for a documentary review and panel discussion of “The Souls of Black Girls”, which was produced by documentary filmmaker and Brooklyn native Daphne Valerius. The documentary examines the impact of media images on the self image of black women and girls. Our discussion for the day will be centered on the context of the documentary but will also lead to further discussions about colorism, self-awareness, and the long term impact of these issues from a personal, professional, organizational and spiritual level.
