Snarky Puppy will celebrate the release of its brand new, live CD/DVD "Ground Up" and new record label (GroundUP Music) with a concert on Tuesday, February 28th in Brooklyn, New York.
It will be held at the site of the album's filming- legendary bassist Matt Garrison's newly-opened Shapeshifter Lab in the Gowanus/Park Slope neighborhood. The show is ALL-AGES.
Featured performances by GroundUP label-mates Hildegunn Gjedrem, Maz, Philthy, Alison Wedding, and the Funky Knuckles will precede Snarky Puppy's set.
The show is very early- 7:30pm, so it's recommended to arrive as close to 7pm as possible. Snarky Puppy will finish at 10:30pm in accordance with noise laws in the neighborhood, but the venue and bar will remain open until 2am.
Also, we'll be giving away FREE GroundUP Music samplers (featuring tracks from all of the artists above) to anyone who buys the new album.
Since this show is expected to sell out, I would highly, highly recommend buying tickets here now. They're $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
