A lil bit about our Fabulous Instructor:
Fatima Imani-Seba Friday is an Existential Researcher of Ancient African Spirituality, Philosophy, and Symbolism. She is the Founder and Artistic Creator of FreelaavéSól, Dance to Light—a multifaceted arts-based organization that delves into the healing and ritualistic facets of oratorical prose, African-inspired dance, Music, Visual Arts, and Writing. As a yoga practitioner and instructor, Fatima’s soul purpose is to introduce participants to the quintessential facets of breathing, holistic awareness and alignment, and the internal cultivation of harmony through synchronicity. She integrates Kemetic (Ancient Egyptian) yoga, Qi Gong and several martial arts principles as the pillars of her yoga instruction. The benefits of Fatima’s integrated approach is transformative; consistent participation and practice of participants result in the healing of various health discomforts— arthritis, lower back pain, and hypertension to name a few. Furthermore, the benefits of practicing Fatima’s integrated style of yoga results in improved concentration, revitalization of energy, reduction of stress, muscular and bone strength enhancement, total organ system regeneration!
Hope to see you there! Free refreshments will be served (healthy snacks). They are rather tasty btw!
