With three solo artist albums in the bag as Boca 45 (Pitch Sounds, Vertigo Sounds and Bombonera Sounds) dancefloor devastating collabos with DJ Andy Smith as “Dynamo Productions”, and the all new “Beekeepers” project with rising Bristol star Parker, now has never been a better time to catch a Boca 45 fever.
His ever popular 7’’/45’s only mixes - Bocaplayshis45’s , Boca’s Juke Box and Bocasnapcracklepartymix

has inspired The Thunderbolt and him to start a monthly night @ the Homely Venue in South Bristol playing just the beautiful small vinyl format in a true jukebox houseparty party spirit.
There will be no musical barriers – just the good stuff (so long as it’s on a 7’’ single of course)
Expect to hear 60’s soul, golden era hip hop, disco, 50s R&B, ska, 70’s funk, dub, rock, and more.
Each month Scott Boca will invite guests to spin 45s with him.
The opening guest is PJ Harvey producer/band member and collaborator John Parish.
This is a very rare chance to see a local Bristol legend put down the guitar for one night only, dust off his vinyl collection and to see the type of music that inspired his successful 30-year colourful and eventful musical career. http://www.johnparish.com
Future guests will include young Bristol Upstarts “Funk From The Trunk” another Bristol DJ legend “John Stapleton” – (who now owns the record shop emporium “Wanted Records” at St Nicholas Market) and the Northern Soul Collective “Can I Get A Witness”.
Scott Boca’s many releases over the years on record labels such as “Island/Universal”, “Domino”, “Grand Central”, “Illicit”, “Jalapeno”, “Unique” and “Jack To Phono” Recordings, under a slew of aliases, has always tricky to pin the man down. As he says himself, the best way to soak up the “Boca 45” experience is to catch one his blistering live DJ sets.
