BLEECH
www.bleech.me.uk
There’s a difference between retro chique and the reinvention of a genre. Bleech manage to give their burning guitars, heavy drums and howling vocals a modern touch of “NOW”. They have breathed new life into the genre, which even Kurt Cobain pronounced dead.
Bleech released their first single 'Is It True That Boys Don't Cry' on
Ban*Jam/Island Records on limited edition vinyl. On the week of its release the single was on the NME 'Songs To Listen To This Week', NME Radio A- list and Radio 6 playlist as well as Best of Myspace Number 1. Their second self released single 'The Worthing Song' was Clash Magazine 'Single of the Month’ and was NME Radio A-listed.
Bleech has built an impressive fan base including Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy, Lauren Lavern, Mark Richardson (Skunk Anansie/Feeder), Billy Lunn (The Subways). They have supported Wolfmother, The Kooks, The Subways, Pete Doherty, The Rifles and The Joy Formidable on tour.
2011 sees Bleech releasing a 4 track EP and expanding their tour to the States. The band has been named the new face of Kangol Headwear’s AW11 global campaign. Their debut album ‘Nude’ will be out early 2012.
CALL THE DOCTOR

Call the Doctor are a "jerky, girly post-punk" (NME) 4 piece based in Bristol who formed after singer Patti Aberhart moved from New Zealand. In 2010 they released their debut mini-album 'CTD' to widespread acclaim which led to a feature as Steve Lamacq's unsigned band of the week on his BBC radio show, daytime playlisting on BBC Bristol, as well as a coveted slot on Gill Mill's 'Best of Myspace' podcast. Currently planning the release of their debut LP'.
ANNETTE BERLIN
www.facebook.com/pages/Annette-Berlin/42788206965
This will be Annette's last ever show as a 5-piece. Don't miss it!
Annette Berlin’s new solo work is an unhurried late night walk along the shadowy and very wrong side of the tracks. Listening to this music, you enter a dark world of smokey, sultry, film noir, with a woman who’s no better than she ought to be. Reminiscent of early Moloko and Helicopter Girl, slightly soul tinged with dirty beats, twangy guitar, and those vocals.
