Jon began working at the capital's premier dance emporium Phonica Records, whilst Robin (aka Reecha) started the clubnight Dirty Canvas (with DJ Magic), which was the only regular event showcasing the grime sound in London. In addition to this, Robin set up the offshoot record label No Hats No Hoods, which has become the UK's leading grime label via releases from P Money, Wiley, JME, Plastician and arguably the biggest grime track of all time - Tempa T’s ‘Next Hype’.

In 2010 Jon & Reecha joined forces with Oneman, Barclay James & MC ASBO to start a new night - Standard Place. Along with their monthly parties at The Alibi in Dalston they also began hosting events on the U-Stream show The Boiler Room.

On into 2011 and Standard Place became a regular feature of the Boiler Room; Jon has a weekly show on the independent online radio project NTS; and Jon & Robin have set up another record label and clubnight Lightworks, dropping previous 51 guest Ossie's anthemic 'floor killer 'Tarantula' as their first release.
