After meeting at a party in 2003, Bob Dylan fans Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile began working together to produce the melodic and experimental drones The War On Drugs are loved for. After Kurts departure from the band, Adam, Dave, Stephen and Robbie have continued to produce music with powerful, heartfelt lyrics mixed with a touch of bad boy sneer. Recorded throughout the last four years at frontman Adam's home studio in Philadelphia, their new album 'Slave Ambient' is littered with synthy, high-tempo beats and fist-pump inducing elements. And known for their intimate, perfectly executed performances, this is an event not to be missed.
