The national final of the UK Air Guitar Championships is here. The current champion, Smokey Van Porno will look to defend his title against an array of other finalists along with those who want to enter on the night.

This is the 19th Annual UK Air Guitar championships, continuing the longest running air guitar competition in the world.

"Everyone plays air guitar at some point, either in their bedroom, at a gig, in a pub on a boozy night.. But here those closet rockers are put on our stage to show the country what they've got. And you, the audience, are their judges!
We have been around the whole of the UK all summer putting on air guitar contests to find who is truly the best at rocking out in their underpants to cheesy Air Rock songs. We visited Cardiff, Derry, Edinburgh and now time for the national final in Brighton.
Each air guitarist / Air band performs their 90 second track, you will be instructed to cheer or boo and the loudest cheers win, simple! The top air guitarists will then move on to the finals.
Its a night of pure comedy gold and should not be missed, we hope to see you there..."
