Ahoy there! The good ship ‘Honey Hush’ is pulling into harbour yet again, so climb aboard and make sure to hoist your mainsail!
The people behind Frockabilly (Brighton ’s world-renowned 1950s-themed club night) now bring you ‘Honey Hush’, a regular night of rockabilly shenanigans, steamy rhythm & blues and downright crazy rock ‘n’ roll, where you can wear what you like, dance how you like and kiss who you like!
On Saturday 3rd March the A-Bar (at The Amsterdam hotel) will be transformed into a vintage oasis, complete with nautical visuals, sweet treats, and a range of unique cocktails, including the ‘Honey Hush’, a spiced honey rum concoction, created especially for the night by the experienced A-Bar mixologists.
The A Bar boasts a smart bar area, a heated smoking terrace overlooking the Brighton Wheel, and a fantastic wooden dance floor where you can jive with a view of the sea, whilst DJ Lonesome M (Frockabilly / Dixie Fried / Lucky Lips) and guest DJ Citizen Lane (The Devil's Music / Shake 'n' Stomp) spin vintage vinyl all night long.
So, whether you’re a big fat mama, a long-gone daddy, a filthy hound dog, a tiny little hopper or a great big bopper, shove on a doughboy hat and dance! Remember – everybody loves a sailor!
