CALLING OUT TO BANDS, SOLO ARTISTS & DANCE MUSIC PRODUCERS
Online registration date to be confirmed.
Whether you are a band, solo artist, singer, producer or purely an appreciator of new sounds, get ready to be involved in a music project which will provide inspiration and collaboration en mass.
The deal is this. In each city, original acts (bands, solo artists etc) and electronic music producers (of any genre) are invited to enter the project. The original artists to enter per city are then paired up at random with the dance music producers to create remixes with a startling difference.
For "original" artists to enter you must have an original track and you must have the stems for that track available.
For dance music producers to enter, all you need to do is submit your details online along with at least one link to an online profile (e.g. Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Facebook, RA etc)
Initial registrations will be done online, the link will be made live on the 1st March 2013. This will be followed by an "Intro Event" in each city early May, where every act and producer will meet who they have been randomly paired with.
IF YOU WANT TO GET INVOLVED BEFORE THIS DATE, CHECK OUT THE REMOTE ACCESS PROJECT!! See our other event pages, as this launches in May 2012 and is open to artists worldwide.
Then the juices really start to flow.
Some benefits include;
Digital, CD and vinyl releases
Festival bookings Summer 2013
Widespread promotion UK and overseas (print, online, radio etc)
The project has been running since 2009, and will provide education, promotion and valuable contacts. There will be opportunities to collaborate with artists internationally, and the top 10 tracks per city as chosen by judging panels will be announced at awards/showcase events and digitally released. Numerous promotional and publicity opportunities will be open to the participants, as well as bookings into festivals. To find out what else is in store for those who have the drive to push beyond their comfort zones, stay connected to this event and the project page.
