Our new INTRODUCING gigs will be returning with some of Brums finest acts on the scene…This is a chance to see what the Birmingham music scene has to offer as well as creating a top night of entertainment at the best music venue in Moseley Village!
4 acts, 4 pounds in … for those of you who struggle with maths that’s a squid per band!
There is one more slot left for the evening so if you would like to play on this night or at some point in the future email: rachel@hareandhoundskingsheath.co.uk
We will also have some special drinks deals for the night because let’s face it … the price of booze is pretty ridiculous … anyway here’s some nice things to read about our acts and if you really need to know, our special deals are listed at the bottom:
The Fall, The Rise – The band’s goal is a simple one: Write music they enjoy playing. This invariably leads to songs dealing in quiet/loud dynamics, powerhouse drumming, fluid basslines, intricate guitar work and lyrics dealing with the fucked up human condition. The Fall, The Rise enjoy playing these songs so much, that they play them live in the hope others will like them too. Usually to half empty rooms. Those who are in attendance will find, however, that the band provide a high energy, intense live performance – These four friends care about the music they are crafting.
“The Fall, The Rise are a frighteningly good proposition” – Kerrang! Magazine
The Killerest Expression – Brum legends and simply one of the best punk rock bands around who have a new split EP with The Fall, The Rise and The Blackbelts coming out.
Against The Wheel – Dan Ratcliffe, Gavin Flint, Jeff Gowen and Kelvin Hayward join forces to deliver an intense hard rock sound that you’ll find yourself whistling and tapping to, long after the ringings stopped! This is music for people who want tunes without pretension or fakery. Songs such as It’s All Ours, Sink Like A Stone, Reminder and Safe Sys…tem provide wide spread raw appeal while still staying true to experience. Previous venues have been shaking to an energetic LIVE set that pulls no punches and holds no compromise.
