******Birmingham Alternative & Burlesque Fair @ VUDU Nightclub, Saturday 31st March IS NOW POSTPONED******

Further to our previous communication regarding the launch of this exciting new event, we can confirm that the 31st March launch at VUDU NIGHTCLUB has been postponed due to the unexpected closure of the venue due on 11th Feb. It would appear the financial backers pulled out of the venture leaving the club insolvent.

Every cloud does indeed have a silver lining though, and in this case it has given us the opportunity of moving this event to a bigger and better venue which we were already in talks with for events at the latter end of the year.

We can confirm that the event will now be launched on Saturday 30th June @ The Birmingham Ballroom (formerly the Carling/O2 Academy) on Dale Street.

The new venue presents us with considerably more options for the events future expansion, is well served with car parking & public transport links, is disabled accessible & has bars, chill out areas, cloakrooms & other amenities which should be agreeable to all, and the stage sound & production facilities are superior to those at Vudu.

We will be posting full details of the structure of the new launch event next week.
