SUMMER CAMP
Summer Camp are a London based duo who formed by accident after deciding to cover The Flamingos ‘I Only Have Eyes For You’. Initially they kept their identities a secret, claiming to be six Swedish teenagers, but a report by independent music newspaper The Stool Pigeon revealed that they were former solo artist Jeremy Warmsley and former journalist Elizabeth Sankey.
Their debut single, ‘Ghost Train’ was released by the highly respected Moshi Moshi Records, and after a string of singles their debut album is finally here: ‘Welcome To Condale’, mixes 80s nostalgia with hazy chillwave to tremendous effect and has been receiving rave review across the board.
“Never has an album been made which brings to life memories of lost youth, disco dancing, bad fashion, holiday romance and a whole universe of teenage dreams quite like Welcome to Condale does” - Soundblab
“Fractured techno, torch song balladry, oilsmoke rock’n’roll and soulful synth pop merge sublimely, all rooted in tales of romantic dislocation and repair. Not just a summation of 21st-century alt.pop, but a compass pointing the way to its future adventure.” –NME 8/10

FIXERS
Inspired by the uplifting Californian intonations of the Beach Boys, Fixers are an Oxford five-piece dedicated to producing day dream soundtracks in the name of sunsets and young romance.
After a string of successfully received singles, an appearance on Radio 1 Live Lounge, a tour with the Kaiser Chiefs and headlining the BBC introducing stage at last year’s Reading and Leeds festival, this year sees the release of Fixers eagerly anticipated debut album ‘We’ll Be The Moon’.
“the most capable of thinking their way to break-out success with their avant-garde take on The Beach Boys”- NME
