SHAPES
Since first launching onto the scene in 2008, Shapes have successfully taken their ‘spiralling riff-heavy angular attack rock’ across the length and breadth of the country. 2009 saw them join the ever-impressive roster of Big Scary Monsters and release their EP ‘The Pasture, The Oil’ – quickly followed by tours with the likes of Glassjaw and Pulled Apart By Horses.
Last year, Shapes released their long-awaited debut album ‘Monotony Chic’. Recorded in Sweden with producer Eskil Lovstrom, famed for his work with Refused, Poison The Well, In Flames and Hell Is For Heroes, the album displayed a new side to the band and is backed with an incredible sound.
“A statement of intent that says in just over half an hour what most bands spend a whole career trying to.” – 8/10, Rock Sound

BLACKLISTERS
Blacklisters formed in 2008, quickly earning a reputation as a formidable live act through aggressive, confrontational performances riddled with dark humour. Their music has drawn comparisons to The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Pissed Jeans and Kong.
Blacklisters live reputation has continued to grow through gigs with Melt Banana, Rolo Tomassi and Chickenhawk amongst many others. 2010 saw them join tours by Pulled Apart by Horses & Kong, as well as being picked to play the BBC Introducing stage at Leeds & Reading Festivals. The first Blacklisters full length will be released early 2012.

THEM WOLVES
Ex members of DAS BASTARD and Mr Derry unite in a shower of ugly, lurching riffage. Reference points include early 80s sludge and wilfully abrasive noise rock (a la The Jesus Lizard, Pissed Jeans etc). Expect relentlessly pummelling rhythms, caustic feedback-drenched guitar and alpha-male inadequacy.
