UK based metallers BEHOLDER have set "BLACK FLAG" as the title of their follow-up to 2009's "THE AWAKENING", tentatively due for April 2012 via Razorline Records. Beholder have commented on this album being more aggressive and more hard hitting than ever yet with a lyrical and melodic sensibility which is the Beholder sound.
The Black Flag UK Tour set for March will be the first real chance for Metalheads to hear an array of new works alongside tracks from their previous 2 releases in a full length show of monumental proportions.
Momentarily turning away from the industry standard practice of generic support slots the band will be looking to local supports and giving them the platform that is required within the UK Metal Scene.
Since the triumphant UK Tours in 2010 / 2011 (along with a string of European Dates) including festival appearance in the UK and Europe, Beholder continue to gather momentum and support from both fans and media alike and are hailed as the "Standard Bearers of Britain’s Traditional Metal Renaissance" by the likes of Metal Hammer, Classic Rock and more,
Beholder have been likened to the British band that offers a full package INTENSITY, POWER AND HONESTY!
Comparisons in sound with acts like Nevermore, Iron Maiden and Exodus place the band in good company yet Beholders sound
is both unique and uncompromising and led them to rip apart stages such as Bloodstock Open Air (Main Stage 2009 - 2nd Stage Headline 2011),
Hammerfest, Hard Rock Hell, Hellfire Fest alongside direct support to the likes of Fear Factory, Saxon, Edguy and more building the increasingly manic and loyal fanbase - The Beholder Faithful.
Yet the follow up to the Awakening is without doubt beholder’s finest hour and with support from the likes of Bruce Dickinson, Devildriver and other notables — it’s the one to watch out for!!
