It has been a busy few months for Le Lieu and we are about to turn the heat up in Birmingham. Since our launch night in January Le Lieu has brought in names like George FitzGerald, James Fox and is also having an industry launch night with a fashion independent boutique “Liquor Store” in late February. To not to disappoint you for our third night we present Mosca, making his Birmingham debut.

London born and based DJ/Producer tracks are primarily built to power dance floors, but sophisticated. As both a DJ and a producer, 2010 was a great year with his debut 'Square One EP' kick-starting the Night Slugs label, from which 'Nike' was voted no.1 in XLR8R's favourite tracks of 2010. Since then he has hooked up with Fabric to release 'Gold Bricks, I See You', as well as remixing Vybz Kartel, Gucci Mane, Four Tet and Foals. His remix of 'Heartbeat' took the world of UK funky by storm, while hiphop tempo 'Tilt Shift' united ravers from grime youngers to soulful house heads.

Championed by Gilles Peterson, DJ Q, Mary Anne Hobbs and Benji B as well as having regular airplay on Rinse FM, Deja Vu FM and other pirates, Mosca's appeal is broad and stretches far beyond the UK.

We like his sets and we like his track selections. Never fails to deliver. He also runs his own event called “Birmingham Bombstore” opening in April. So it wont be the last time you hear of him.

Debuting in February to the Birmingham crowd, he put a show on. A chance to see him live again it's not be missed. The Bossman at “Abandon Silence Liverpool”, is well known in the underground music scene.

We now call them the local residents. Performing in all 3 nights of Le Lieu get ready to not stop partying. Birmingham lads are pushing boundaries and are on fire at the moment.
