Hit the Ode brings the most exciting poets from the region, the country and the world straight to the heart of Birmingham. In February, we have a choice selection of styles, voices, and ways to interpret poetry sure to broaden your perspectives. There will be poems here, beautiful poems with hidden flaws and fat, juicy poems which make up one of your five-a-day; poems which look exactly like your best friend from school; poems which ask you out on a date, then leave you nothing but a cryptic map and half a smudged phone number.
