FUNERAL SUITS

Funeral Suits are a four-piece from Ireland. A shared love of epic, distorted guitars, blistering harmonius pop, art rock and electronica led to the band spending the best part of two years holed up in a disused office space in deepest North County Dublin, writing, rehearsing and at times venturing out to play as special guests for Franz Ferdinand, Passion Pit, The Maccabees, and Local Natives amongst others.

Funeral Suits first single ‘Colour Fade’ has already enjoyed support from BBC Radio 1 DJ’s Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens. ‘Colour Fade’ is a song reflective of the trio’s hedonistic adolescence and burning passion to escape Dublin whilst hinting at big things. Their debut album has been recorded by acclaimed producer Stephen Street (Blur, The Smiths) and is due to be released spring 2012.

The Hole In The Head Gang are irrelevant, we are without meaning, we are little more than a cacophony of sound in the ongoing struggle of infinite nothingness. This is something you must come to understand.

Influenced by Ska, dub reggae, pre punk, new wave, hip hop and relatively recent indie with nuclear energy.
