We are back for our opening party of 2012.

The last 18 months have seen us build a Sunday daytime party based on unearthing top guests (often their first time in Birmingham), and discovering and throwing parties in a variety of venues around the city.

We are on the move again and can not wait to use an amazing venue that we have unearthed in the Jewellery Quarter. You have probably never even noticed this place before and certainly never been to a house/techno party there. We will be installing our own Funktion One soundsystem in this unique space which is unlike anything else in Birmingham. No more clues for now.

Our previous parties have seen us showcase strictly underground artists who are going on to make big names for themselves including the likes of BLM, Ed Davenport, Gavin Herlihy, James Teej/My Favorite Robot, Leif, Matthew Burton, Nick Harris and Nick Lawson amongst many others. We will continue to identify and book great artists and as always you wont find out who's playing until you turn up on the day.

This month we are very pleased to be introducing you to one of the UK's most exciting new DJ/producers. He is part of a new wave of dub, techno and house DJ's breathing fresh life into the scene. His versatile production style means you never know which direction he may take with his DJ sets but always maintaining a deep and dubby sound. His releases have been massively supported by the likes of Carola and Midland and seen him release on Hypercolour, MagicBag Music and 2nd Drop Records. His DJ sets have earned him a regular appearance at Mint Warehouse in Leeds, playing alongside some of the industries biggest names. We look forward to welcoming him to Cloak N Dagger.
