2012 EHS Alumni Picnic

Hello fellow Yellow Jackets,

As a non-profit organization the purpose of the Ensley High School Grand Alumni Association, Inc. (EHSGAA) is to support the EHS alumni and Ensley Community. We are glad to announce that the EHS Alumni Annual Picnic will be held at Ensley Park on Saturday, September 08, 2012.

We have set the standard for all B’ham High School Alumni picnics and because of our tremendous growth the B’ham Park & Recreation Board has placed strict regulations that we all have to adhere to.

• Picnic hours 8am – 8pm. No exceptions.
• Vehicle unloading only between 6am – 8am.
• Absolutely no parking on the grass after unloading.
• No visible alcohol.
In order to continue fostering the spirit of tradition and loyalty among all EHS Alums we are asking that each class or organization, family, or individual make a donation to offset the cost of the picnic, which is approximately $2050. Below is an itemized cost for the picnic as well as donations asked to be given. Invoices and/or receipts will be available upon request to those that donate or a current paid member of EHSGAA.

• B’ham PD West Precinct Officers (6) - $720 ($30 per hour/4hrs. each officer)
• B’ham Park & Rec Board damage fee - $250 (refundable if no damage)
• B’ham Park & Rec Board reservation fee - $300 ($60 per 100 persons)
• DJ - $300
• Portalet/AAA Solutions (6) - $480

Donations:
• Class or other organization - $100
• Family (10 or more persons) - $100
• Individual - $10

A committee member will be available to take donations each Saturday in August at the Ensley Rec from 2 – 4. If that time can’t be met then contact Adrienne Clark-Paige or Linda S. Cosby. Spread the word and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. Jackets, Jackets are you READY?!
