Thank you for your interest in the 2012 Caledonia Homecoming event. The event will be held Saturday and Sunday, September 15 & 16, 2012. Hours of operation will be 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM both days. The park will be open Friday afternoon/evening at 4:30 PM for set up of campsites.
All campsites, vendor locations and display areas will be assigned by the CHS. No set ups will be allowed without an assigned space.
All participants earning income from the event (ie. suttlers, art and craft vendors, food sales) will be charged $25.00 per 12' x 12' space requested. In addition, anyone selling food stuffs must have a certificate of inspection from the Caledonia Health Department.
Dogs will be allowed in the camps as part of historical recreations. Dogs must have up to date license and shots. Dogs must be on a tether or caged. No spectator pets will be allowed.
Spectators will NOT be allowed to handle loaded weapons.
The event will be held on Village and county land at Linwood Park. Linwood Park is located on 5 Mile Road just east of State Hwy 38 in Racine County, WI.
From I-94 northbound, exit County Hwy "K". Travel east on Hwy "K" to Hwy 38. Turn north, (left thru roundabout) on Hwy 38 and travel approx 1.5 miles to 5 Mile Road. Right (east) on 5 Mile Road, Park is on your left.
From I-94 southbound, exit County Hwy G. Travel east on "G" (6 Mile Road) to Hwy "H" Turn south (right) on Hwy "H" and travel to 5 Mile Road. Turn east (left) on 5 Mile Road and drive east to Park. You will cross Nicholson Road and Hwy 38.
Linwood Park is primitive with NO running water or Toilets. We will have Porta-Johns and bottled water.

Please tend to you campfires at all times and keep your area clean and neat. The Caledonia Historical Society has designated this event as alcohol free and we trust you will abide by this rule.
