We are organizing a National level Students' Conference with a theme 'Connecting Science and Society' where in we invite students from all research institutes of India to present their research work that is relevant to society.

The conference is scheduled on 3rd and 4th of March 2012. You are cordially invited to participate in the conference and requested to kindly circulate this information and brochure among all your institute students, and encourage them to participate in.

As you are aware, lot of money is spent in premier research institutes of the country and it is the time, we Youth need to think, what we are delivering to the society, the tax payers. Here, comes an idea to look and evaluate ourselves and find some answers to the questions posed by the societal demand to the scientific community. In this context, IISc Students' Council would like to host a National Students' Conference समन्वय 2012 in collaboration with Students' Councils of Premier research institutes of the country. We all can have a good time working together. We expect that, every year, we can have such vibrant, brainstorming, community oriented event hosted by various Institute Students' Councils with the support of all institutes. We students should take the lead.

We can do wonders together.
