Starting Point: Malleswaram Railway Station

As part of the Malleswaram Accessibility Project(http://yourmap.in/), Bangalore based NGO Jaaga(http://www.jaaga.in/) has been working with the Karnataka Govt. to understand how to make the streets of Malleswaram more accessible to walking and cycling, while also providing socio-cultural heritage information along the route.

On 25th Feb from 10am to 6pm they will be taking over the stretch of 9th Cross of Malleswaram - from the Railway Station to Ganesha Market to be a space for artists to showcase work that speaks about these issues of accessibility, mobility and urban heritage.

This photowalk will coincide with their socio-cultural tour that kicks off from the Railway station at 11:00am. It will be about 2.5 hrs walk that showcases some of "The Urban Avant-Garde" (http://urbanavantgarde.wordpress.com/). We will have a guided tour by Krupa Rajagam taking people to most of the walls painted by Indo-German artists and socio-cultural heritage sites.
