Hatha Flow, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Power Yoga: whatever you call it, Flow-Based practices are fun, invigorating, a great work out, an opportunity for devotion in motion and can be practiced by yogis of all ages and sizes.
Too often, however, the vigor and excitement (and ego!) overwhelm the fundamentals and we hear of yogis being injured! It’s not the practice, it’s the practitioner!
In this informative and dynamic workshop from 2:00-4:30pm, we’ll go deeply into the fundamentals of Flow-Based Practices: Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath control), Bandhas (energetic engagement), Dristhi (focus) and Vinyasa (the sequencing and transitions within the practice). We’ll explore how to be safe in some of the more dynamic transitions of the practices, and get practical applications that can be carried into any practice in order to build greater stability and core.
Hatha Flow experience necessary – some lecture, primarily applied practice.
