Join the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc., Atlanta Chapter as we celebrate our 36th Anniversary by hosting the Southeast Regional Conference of the GMWA to be held Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, 534 Fairburn Road, Atlanta GA, where Dr. Gregory Sutton is Pastor.

This year we have partnered with the American Heart Association to educate our community about stroke through a regional choir competition entitled Most Powerful Voices. Church choirs of all sizes, ethnicities and denominations across the Southeast are invited to compete to win the Southeast champion title, while helping fight heart disease and stroke through raising awareness in their congregations and communities.

Join us on Saturday, the 25th for a Gospel Music Workshop with emphasis on choir and worship excellence beginning at 10 a.m. These classes are free. You’ll be able to register on-line, beginning on Tuesday, February 7th. We’ll also have classes for the Independent Artists that will be facilitated by Industry Professionals that will share the latest information in taking your project and music ministry to the next level. These classes will be at cost. From 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., please join us for a Health Fair and Exhibit Area where their will be various screenings and items you can purchase from various vendors including music, clothes, books, etc. Starting at 5:00 p.m. join us as we host the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc., Southeast Chapters from North Alabama, Birmingham, Mobile, Montgomery, Alabama, Tampa, Florida, South Georgia, Savannah, Georgia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Then come back on Sunday, February 26th with the Anniversary Finale, our Go Red for Women Gospel Concert featuring some of Atlanta’s best Church Choirs, Community Choirs, and Gospel Artists. This event is free. We are wearing red to climax this months emphasis on Heart Disease, Heart Attack, and Stroke. We look forward to seeing you. Bring your family, a friend, bring a neighbor.
