MomoCon will now be 3 days, March 16th through 18th 2012. A new year, a new venue, and a new value; MomoCon 2012 will be one of our best yet!

For the first time since the Momocon 2005, the entire convention will be located in one building, the downtown Marriott Marquis: http://bit.ly/pD7VU5 . The new space is over 60,000 sq. feet larger than the 2011 space, giving us room to grow.

For the first time ever MomoCon will welcome industry and voice actor guests. We can finally address requests to bring a variety of stars to MomoCon, and we hope you are as excited about it as we are!

We are adding more concerts, bigger panels (and panel rooms), better sound systems, late-night programming, and a rave-style dance, all included with admission. Don’t worry, all of your favorite events will be returning.

The change in venue, addition of guests, larger events and increase to the length of our convention will mean a change in how we operate. With the increased costs from 2011 and going forward into 2012, MomoCon will no longer be a fully free event as in years past. If you donated $25 or more for the 2011 MomoCon, you will be given free admission to MomoCon 2012. We are also doing something special if you book at hotel room at the Marriott Marquis under the MomoCon rate. With your 2 night hotel booking at the Marriott Marquis you will get 2 free badges! If you didn’t donate and can’t get a hotel room, we will be giving away hundreds of badges via our Facebook and Twitter. Pre-registration is available online for $20 until October 15th, and $25 after. Otherwise it will be $30 at the door.
