BIOS:

MARK INSTINCT

Canadian bass music artist Mark Instinct is sure to be one of the most intoxicating talents to emerge out of western Canada in 2010. Known for his charismatic deliverance of hard hitting, dark and twisted swagger, Mark vents the diversity of Dubstep and Bass music to the masses.

After a successful and fruitful first release on Betamorph Recordings in early 2009; The “Humanoid EP” made its way to the top ten on Juno, Digital Tunes and Chemical Recordings. A remix EP for “SketchyMaxx” is slated for the spring of 2010. His second release “Badman Sound” on imprint Aufect Recordings is getting widely recognized and played by artists such as TrillBass, Reid Speed, Ill.gates, and Rossi B just to name a few. Currently awaiting releases on Rottun Recordings, Dubline Audio, Play Me and DjSS' Formation Records for early 2010, Mark has a dense concentration of unsightly tunes hitting digi shops and record stores worldwide.

AK1200

// Drum & Bass, Jungle | Big Riddim Recordings, Orlando //

AK1200 (Dave Minner), an Orlando, Florida-native, widely recognized as The Godfather of drum n’ bass in America, has the longest running career of any drum n’ bass DJ in the US - the first to give exposure to hundreds of UK based artists in the states. Truly an asset to the electronic dance music community, his lengthy list of credentials speaks for itself. From his writing background with UK and US-based music magazines, to his A&R work for Moving Shadow, all elements have served to create incredibly high demand for his performances and production work, taking him to all corners of the earth. AK’s extensive discography includes collaborations and remix work with talent quite diverse in range - from electronica greats Rabbit in the Moon and Crystal Method, to hip hop’s Tribe Called Quest. His classic remix of Cleveland Lounge's "Drowning" is one of the most widely recognized drum n’ bass songs in America. His works have been released on labels such as Moonshine Music, FFRR, Jive Electro, Moving Shadow, and Breakbeat Science.

HEROES x VILLIANS vs. MAYHEM

Atlanta's dynamic duo is back together for a very special tag set! The creators behind Heavy and Haute Mess recently released FKi's Mixtape "Transformers N The Hood" on DIPLO's Mad Decent label Feb 1st with 50,000 downloads in a single day and rave reviews from some of the industries finest. Often imitated but never duplicated, the duo have set the trend in Atlanta for fusing Dubstep and Trap Music. Mayhem has been a staple of Atlanta's nightlife since the early days of Iris Promotions - proliferating the Drum & Bass and Dubstep scenes for years, and Heroes x Villains, who stormed the scene just over 2 years ago - formerly known as DJMEGANFOXXX - coming from his background engineering at T.I.'s Grand Hustle label. Put the two of them together and you get nothing short of a riot each and every time. Catch them joining forces again to bring you their signature blend of Trap Music and Dubstep to FIRST FRIDAY!

MAYHEM

Chart topping, dance floor rocking, and taste making come naturally to Atlanta based producer, DJ, label executive and promoter Mayhem. With over 15 years in the studio and 13 years on the decks, he has garnished the attention of the heavyweights in every genre of his focus. Rooted heavily in Drum & Bass music, and with a discerning ear, 28 year old Mayhem found himself making big moves from an early age. From releasing records for Andy C, TeeBee, Dieselboy, Noisia, and Black Sun Empire to DJing across the world for massive crowds in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and beyond; he has warranted a reputation for diversity and quality control. Collaborating with and developing artists such as Noisia, Le Castle Vania, Phace, Evol Intent, Sinthetix, Gein and Gridlok amongst many others, his

production soared to new heights with "Exodus (featuring the legendary KRS-1)", "Moonway Renegade", and "Choke" with Noisia. Boundless inspiration pushed Mayhem to pursue Dubstep in it's formidable years, immediately signing with the reputable Subway Records. As of late his focus has been brought back to home on the forefront a movement combining southern Rap music with Dubstep collaborating with long time friend Heroes + Villains. His club nights Transit, Fuck Yesss, Heavy, Tambor Y Bajo, Atlanta Dubstep and Haute Mess have helped reshape Atlanta's nightlife. No matter the genre, you are guaranteed a diverse set with attention to detail and a healthy respect for dynamics and balance. This is Mayhem.

HEROES X VILLIANS

The bastard degenerate of pop culture has revealed himself.

Atlanta bred aural anarchist, produce/dj Daniel Disaster is pleading guilty to all charges related to the subversive Dirty South Bass Conspiracy coined “Heroes & Villains,” testifying to a decade of premeditated blood, sweat, and bass.

T.I., Young Jeezy, Justin Timberlake, Young Dro, Yung LA, and Lil Wayne… no I’m not reading off your little brother’s ipod playlist.

This is just a few of the many artists Daniel has worked with.

By day, this Grand Hustle hitman’s invisible hand has been helping facilitate the infamous “swag” movement infiltrating commercial radio the world over. As producers, Daniel and accomplice Pete H use the moniker “Heroes+Villains” to produce an authenticated formula of house, punk, dubstep, electro, rap and hardcore, including official remixes for their trap-star colleagues Roscoe Dash’s ‘All the Way Turnt Up’ and Waka Flocka’s “Oh Let’s Do It.” The latest of Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade” was recently even number 1 on Hype Machine, after being blessed by Diplo x La Rouix mix tape. As a dj, Atlanta‘s reigning pied piper went under the alias “Megan Foxxx” and launched his own monthly party titled HEAVY in order to paint the picture of his new soundtrack, and East Atlanta’s sceny underworld instantly mutated, feinding for a rare strand of bass that only the Dirty South can spawn.. You see, Daniel isn’t just an act of Disaster, he’s a paradox: a Villain to those pussy ‘cocktail’ drinking cronies who only go out to pose in the outfit they bought two hours ago; a Hero to the derelicts who incite dance riots, and for the dames who tame the beast

EYERONIK: Electro, Trance, House, Progressive House, Minimal House

Patrick Samuel Morgan, better known to his fans by his stage name, Eyeronik, is an Atlanta based DJ/producer who is well known for his freshly squeezed tracks and off-the-wall antics on stage. Born on June 9, 1992, this young DJ has been infatuated with EDM for more than half his life; his passion drove him through five years of Allstate Band as well as motivating him to put in countless hours to study the art of musical creation on his own. Eyeronik mainly produces Progressive Minimal House and also DJs Trance, Electro House, and DnB. Some of his greatest influences include talented artists such as Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, Mord Fustang, Hypster, Wolfgang Gartner, Jody Wisternoff, and A-Trak. Eyeronik’s tunes are catchy and addictive, but it is his stage presence that makes him stand out from the swarm of other producers and DJs. When he is up on stage his already charismatically energetic personality seems to intensify, resulting in an intense, unforgettable experience that the crowd will surely remember long after the show.
