BURNAWAY THROWS AN ART CRUSH BASH!!

Burnaway’s Art Crush Bash will focus on the local creatives who are featured in their popular monthly interview series. The setting for this bash, 7Stages, will be lit up the evening of February 25th with silent and live auctions, entertainment, cocktails designed by local celebrity bartenders, and a great party all to support BURNAWAY raise matching funds for their challenge grant of $20,000.

There will be 21 live auction items and 15 silent auctions total! These will all be BURNAWAY exclusive and tailored specifically for their diverse audiences!

#6 THE MORNING AFTER WITH JOHN Q

Prior to the collective's first series of public interventions, Memory Flash, John Q hosted a special sneak preview for members of the press and close-knit supporters. Based on an archived love letter from the early 1950s, this happening took place at the Kibbee Gallery where John Q cooked breakfast for everyone in their pajamas and discussed the upcoming work. We would like to extend a special invitation to the sneak preview of our upcoming series. While this newest work will be based in both Atlanta and San Francisco, the preview itself will take place in Atlanta where we will share ideas and some small piece leading up to the interventions themselves.

#7 CREATIVE POSITIONS WITH NEDA ABGHARI

A tour of the new artist residencies for The Creatives Project at the Goat Farm followed by a private studio visit with some of the artists. Afterwards, Neda will take your portrait!#8 AFTERNOON DELIGHT WITH RICH GERE AND DAYNA THACKER

A Sunday afternoon art-making printshop experience with the collaborative printmakers. Bring yourself and three of your friends to learn about printmaking and take home some great artwork. Rich and Dayna will bring the wine and snacks.

Dance Truck will bring the truck to the location of your choosing to perform a seven-minute performance by emerging choreographer Alisa Mittin.

#16 HOOKED ON PONCE WITH MARK & JAMES OF BEEP BEEP

Mark Basehore and James McConnell are dedicated to taking you on your own adventure.
