Get Outta Here, Dave!

Our native son Dave Stone is leaving the cutthroat Atlanta comedy scene and heading west to the land of the thoughtful, the considerate, and the generous: Los Angeles! And just like Lewis & Clark before him, Dave is taking his van.

We're definitely going to miss Dave! Come help us send him off in style with a farewell show and garage sale on Saturday, February 25th at Relapse Theatre. It's your last chance to see Dave for a long, long time!

Show starts at 8pm. Doors open at 7 so come early, get drunk, say good-bye, and buy some of Dave's stuff that he can't take with him (cds, dvds, albums, posters, sports cards, books, well, not books but you get the picture). The Garage Sale will run trough the 1am show. Special guests performing that night are Paul Gallois, Matt O'Meara, Matt Pharr, Shalewa Sharpe, Gilbert Lawand, Matt White, Connor Barrett and Remi Treuer. Dave has sharred stages with some of the industry's brightest stars such as Patton Oswalt, Brian Regan, Ron White, Maria Bamford and the late Greg Giraldo. Rooftopcomedy.com recently chose Dave as one of their 2010 "Silver Nail" award winners, naming him one of the top 8 up-and-coming comics in the country and he was a semi-finalist in this year's CMT's "Next Big Comic" online competition. Dave also won Atlanta's innaugural "Laughing Skull Homegrown Comedy Competition" in 2010, beating out 99 other comics. He is a co-founding member of the nationally acclaimed "Beards of Comedy Tour", who recently released their sophomore CD "Cardio Mix" on Comedy Central Records, which can be heard on XM/Sirius Sattelite radio. He also can be heard voicing several characters on AdultSwim’s hit show "Squidbillies" and is a frequent guest on Rock 100.5's "Regular Guys Show". A versatile performer, Dave prides himself on his ability to reach a wide range of audiences, transcending age, race, class, gender, height and weight.
